Modding in the real world.
[combination of digital video recoding]
Movements, gestures extend beyond our body in tangible and intangible forms.

Exploring a self-organised environment.
Phanerology.
What we hear when we sleep, are indeed the beat of our own heart, not the slivers of our unemployed soul.
Falling into the Rabbit Hole.
Alice in Wonderland Book from L.Carroll, reframing some sequences of The Matrix movie focussing on the expression “falling down the rabbit hole”, how was used before and after digital era (internet).
Looping.
Analyzing electronic compositions: sounds that become unedited after a temporal or intensity alteration. The waves are modified, dilated, cut, shortened, to generate new harmonies. Tracks are often remixed hundreds of times so the starting sound and the final sound will never be traced. Digitally the reproducible and alterable sound range is infinite.
Mediated Conversation.
[text based video collage]
Anti-social.
An analysis of the notion of ”antisocial” behaviour through the covers of some iconic music albums miming the social distance restrictions dictated by the quarantine.
Meme Culture.
“A meme is an idea, a behaviour, or style that spreads by means of imitation from person to person within a culture often with the aim of conveying a particular phenomenon, theme, or meaning represented by the meme. A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols, or practices, that can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals, or other imitable phenomena with a mimicked theme."
What if I told you?
If we consider the inverse process of this appropriation, frames can return to the source generating a scene produced by the multiple agents involved. We can say that the agents, in this context, collaborated in an abstract and stigmergic system (reddit and the meme culture) generating a new scene but above all a different script.
Generative Patterns.
[graphic animation]
Starting from a simple principle of interpretation of basic geometrical shapes, following individual curiosity and deductive reasoning, the archetypes of the language have been set. The components, once integrated and appropriated by the system, lose their original meaning and exist only in relation to the others and as part of the generated pattern. This application and combination of different languages through an improvising and spontaneous strategy, can be seen as a proposal of a collective and playful way of recreating a stigmergic system, standing by the notion of self-organisation, decentralised behaviour and indirect coordination.
Tile Game.
[graphic animation]
The use of visual images, processed through a principle of (re)appropriation of cultural references that can be (re)produced and spread in a “viral” way, as traces that each time can assume a different meaning, or a different role in the narrative of the game. The exploration of a virtual environment, that has been generated and replicated with the purpose of stimulating how new communication tools can influence the behavioural pattern and therefore a new perception of collective empathy is introduced to the system.
Lettering Tower.
[graphic animation]
Although the graphic image has no alphabet, it constructed the legible word 'TOWER'. Even if the origin of each components is different, the integration may be different and sometimes powerful.
Visualising perspectives.
[graphic animation]
Exploring a different perspective of the reality through graphical manipulating the image. Movements replicated in 3D the unlocking systems used by some smartphones requiring to insert a pattern over a grid of points.
Homo Ludens.
[graphic animation]
Already the Dutch historian Johan Huizinga, in Homo Ludens (Man at Play) explores this idea of creating a societal organisation over the freedom of playing, not anymore on the necessity of coexisting for economical profit. The video investigates a language as a structure which could reflect a way of connecting together through loose ends of different single components by each individual contribution.

What about a new Babel’s Tower?
Will we ever be able to rebuild a Babel’s Tower that does not aim to know the Heaven but that could instead be standing as a symbol of collaboration and balance between humans and nature over this planet?
